Jason joined the OEP in December 2006. He currently supervises the OEP’s compliance staff, which is tasked with institutionalizing best practices for compliance with environmental laws, with emphasis on air pollution control, water quality and remediation issues, as well as construction-related permits and environmental reviews. Jason also supports strategic studies, plans and projects related to the University’s water utilities and stormwater infrastructure.
Prior to joining the OEP, Jason was an environmental scientist at a Connecticut-based consulting firm where he specialized in compliance engineering for industrial wastewater discharges and the assessment and investigation of contaminated properties.
Jason received his B.S in Geomechanics, a hybrid degree of geology and mechanical engineering, from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, and his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Hartford in December 2007. He earned is Professional Engineering license in 2011.
